good friends

Man it is good to have true friends, the friends that you know you can count on no matter what. I have had all different types, from the friends that show up when you have a surplus of beer to the friends that just call you out of the blue and tell you they are glad to have you around and it just feels incredible to be told that. I definitly prefer the friends that you can count on, and after spending 8 years in the Navy, i realize just how rare that truly is, so thank you to all my friends that have turned out to be good people, I know how much work that can be sometimes but the reward is well worth it.

new to me

Well here I am, I have always been curious about blogs, but never considered myself a "blogger". I have always been quicker to listen then to speak, and that has always served me well, but a friend of mine said that I should start a blog and see how it worked, said that it is a great way to get things off your mind and even get noticed by potential employers, even girls ;) so I figured what the hell, I will give it a try, so this is my vague introduction and I will go from here, happy blog reading :)
